Product details

The Cargo back seat transport box is the ideal solution for keeping your dog comfortable and safe while travelling by car. The high foam walls provide protection if you suddenly need to brake and also stop your dog from sliding into the footwell. To ensure added safety during the car journey, the transport box can be supplemented with the matching Cargo belt system. You can use this to strap your dog in and prevent them from jumping out unexpectedly.
The orthopaedic memory foam lying surface provides particularly gentle support for your dog’s spine and joints.

The transport box’s upper is made of hard-wearing synthetic leather, which is also very easy to clean. The surface is easy to wipe clean and, if it gets very dirty, the removable cover can be washed in the washing machine.
Thanks to the Cargo transport box, your vehicle is effectively protected from dirt, dog hair and odours. The fold-out protective cover also protects your car from getting scratched when your dog’s getting in and out.

Plastic, aluminium, even foldable nylon: there are lots of different types of dog boxes available from specialised retailers. Essentially, the ideal material depends on how big and heavy your dog is and what you want to use the box for. Plastic boxes are especially well-suited for on the go because of their light weight.
Metal dog boxes are popular for car use as they are extremely sturdy and therefore considered safe in road traffic.
Aluminium boxes are significantly heavier because of their robust material and are best suited for large, i.e. heavy dogs.

The only way to find out is to get measuring and try it out. The dog needs to be able to stand up straight in the box, lie comfortably, stretch themselves and turn around. We stock boxes in different sizes and always include the dimensions in cm with the product descriptions.

Yes: According to the German Road Traffic Act (StVO), a dog is strictly speaking classed as a load and has to be secured. A securely installed transport box or a carrier that is secured with a belt are the best option for our beloved four-legged friends. Vehicle owners face a fine if they are caught with a dog in their car that isn’t secured.
