The Lena dog bed features an extra-high wall and a removable lying surface that can be used as an orthopaedic mat. It has a memory foam lying surface that adapts perfectly to your dog’s anatomy and body heat and prevents circulatory problems. The mattress relieves the strain on your dog’s joints and spine and has a long life.
The underside is also made of a non-slip insulating material that protects your four-legged friend from cold floors.

The upper is made of synthetic leather and velour, which makes it easy to clean and machine washable at 30°C. This orthopaedic dog bed allows you to remove the lying surface using a zipper and then use it as a space-saving dog mat.

Just like all other Knuffelwuff-branded products, only high-quality materials are used in this dog bed, which was developed in Germany and manufactured in the EU.

German brand
manufacturer

Knuffelwuff dog beds are designed in Germany and manufactured in the EU according to German quality standards. We don't use any harmful substances and focus on top-grade materials as well as end-to-end quality control throughout the entire value chain – because your furry friend deserves nothing but the best.

Quality sleep for
snuggly dreams

High-quality materials, an orthopaedically optimised mattress and practical features, like anti-slip fabric on the underside, all ensure the best sleep possible. Restful deep sleep and the dream phase that follows, during which your furry friend processes their day's experiences, are incredibly important.

A favourite place
for big and small

Dogs love to feel safe and secure. That’s why our dog beds are available in a wide range of sizes, offering smaller dogs as well as extra-large ones their own snug place to sleep. There’s one waiting for your dog too, ready to be the perfect, cosy spot they've always dreamed of.

For cozy moments

Your questions - Our answers

Dogs are serious snoozers. They spend around 12 hours a day sleeping. But only 2.5 hours of this is proper deep sleep. The other 9.5 hours are spent cosily dozing. Dogs love their comforts just as much as we humans do.

Before you start looking for a dog mat, you need to decide on a suitable spot for it. There are dogs who like to spend time on the sofa with their human family and those who prefer seclusion in a cosy corner. Once you’ve found the right spot, you can think about the dog mat’s size and colour. Naturally, you will want the dog cushion to fit in with its surroundings.

To make sure your dog accepts their new snoozing spot, you need to consider their preferences when buying it. Some dogs, for example, like a soft and cosy space, others like to tuck themselves away in their own cave. We have the right kind of mat for every furry friend's needs.

Some dogs suffer from back, joint and bone-related problems due to arthritis and other similar conditions. We recommend our orthopaedic Knuffelwuff mats if this is the case for your dog. They feature a memory foam mattress, which works to relieve pressure, relax muscles and promote circulation. Our orthopaedic dog mats are also great for healthy four-legged friends as a preventative solution.

In the same way that there are large and small dogs, there are also large and small dog mats.

When choosing, make sure that your dog will be able to stretch out fully on the mat. Even if your dog likes to curl up and make themselves small, they should still be able to stretch out their bones and joints.

And of course, we also have particularly large dogs covered with our oversized bed selection.
