The upper of the Detroit collar is made of especially hard-wearing and grippy buffalo leather and is carefully hand-stitched to the soft cowhide on the underside. Your dog will find the collar extremely comfortable to wear thanks to additional thick padding between the two layers of leather. The soft cowhide on the underside is beneficial in that it protects your dog’s coat from brittleness and doesn’t constrict the skin. Buckle protection also protects your dog from getting their fur caught when they’re moving around.

All our collars are available in different sizes. To find the right dog collar, you will need to know the circumference of your dog's neck. Measure your dog’s neck and add five centimetres. Your dog will feel completely comfortable with this collar length. We always list the length and width of the collar in cm in our shop, so that a perfect fit is guaranteed. It shouldn't be too tight, but also not too loose.
